This is my brother. He is 9 years old, And I love him to death. He has severe ADHD and ODD, and maybe a slight form of autism. I took this photo at our river cabin, and I think its perfect. I think he is perfect. It is so heartbreaking to watch him cry because he thinks hes “stupid, useless, annoying, always makes mistakes, no one likes him, he can’t do anything right, ect” It breaks my heart. He believes what these people tell him, and he’s gotten bullied so bad to the point where the kids followed him home, taunting him. He kept it from me and my mother, until one day he came home just bawling. Me and my mom went and waited by his school and watched as he went to walk home. Sure enough, we saw 5-6 kids riding there bikes and making fun of him, but me and my mom stepped in and stood up for my brother. The next day, I went to pick him up with a couple of my friends and we got distracted and he went home by himself. We followed him about 5 minutes behind, and when we got to my house there was a huge group of people screaming and a cop car. I saw and recognized the bullies, their parents, and a pitbull. I talked to my mom and found out that they used the dog to threaten my brothers best friend to find out where we lived. They followed my brother all the way home, and didn’t stop after he ran in the door, panicked. It DISGUSTED me that these parents were encouraging their children to bully my brother. My brother already cries enough over feeling terrible because he doesn’t understand his homework, his teacher called him stupid in front off his whole class, he got yelled at by my step dad for something stupid, ect. And the worst part of all of this? My brother is truly a good kid. He’s still nice to these kids, he tries to make friends and get a long with everyone. He was never rude to the people that bullied them, he tried to ignore them- but it didn’t work. He has a really nice big and kind heart, and I just wish people would see this. Please, if you are a parent do not let your kid/s think that bullying is okay in any way. Please, stop bullying. You never know what someone is going through at home and you never know how bad they may already feel.

So sad. :/
